Nucaf Tellicherry recorded a massive 230-run win against Asian Style in the 1st Belhasa Driving Centre floodlit cricket tournament being played at the Al Badar cricket ground.

The tournament is organised by Al Saffar Sports under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.

Batting first, Nucaf Tellicherry came up with a brilliant performance as they sent the Asian Sytle bowlers on a leather hunt.

With Shajil (90) going great guns, it was Harish (84) who pushed up the scoring as Nucaf powered their way to a huge total.

Devendar came in later and further slashed the Asian Style bowling to help put up a massive 323 in their allotted 25 overs. Indraneel was only successful bowler as he grabbed two wickets.

Chasing an impossible target, Asian Style were never at it as off-spinner Yogesh took complete control, picking up five wickets for just 19 runs.

Hitesh stepped in later to take two wickets as Asian Style were bundled out for a paltry 93 runs. Babar was the top-scorer for Asian Style with 31.

Shajil was named Man-of-the-Match for his 44-ball 90 that included six sixes and seven fours.

Nucaf Tellicherry are now into the knockout stage of the competition.
