Syrian innovator Adnan al-Buni devised a crane for concrete casting run on electricity of 220 volt capacity for casting concrete floors, columns and shear walls to a height of more than 5,5 meters.

In a statement to SANA, al-Buni said that the crane is light, easy to move among multi-floor buildings and is provided with automatic brake system in case of a power outage and a mechanism for emptying bucket manually.

The crane minimizes the risk of workers' injuries and damages while getting up and down. It can be used in the restoration and maintenance of multi-floor buildings and in places inaccessible by concrete pump since it is provided by a concrete tank, which helps reduce time and effort exerted to identify the accurate place for emptying the concrete.

He said that the crane can be used for casting roofs in small areas and small amounts of concrete where it mixes the concrete, puts it in the cart which is automatically lifted to the desired place.

The crane can be controlled remotely at the control center, few meters away from the place of filling and emptying.

The crane can be disassembled into many pieces which help carry it from one building to another and from one region to another.

Al-Buni has got a patent for his invention of the crane in 2001. He also invented a grain seeder.
