MADINAH: Summer courses will start this academic year at Taibah University, said rector Mansour bin Muhammad Al-Nuzha.

This was approved during the university's fourth senate meeting on Sunday at its Yanbu branch. The senate also approved a draft agreement between the university and the National Company for Training Techniques to conduct training classes for the students.

Al-Nuhza chaired the meeting on behalf of Minister of Higher Education Khaled Al-Anqari.

He said the senate was keen to hold its meetings in the branches of the university in various regions of the Kingdom, as this would enable the senate to know the needs and requirements of various regions.

Undersecretaries of the university and college deans attended the meeting.
