DUBAI - The Shipping Gazette (TSG) UAE edition launched in Dubai recently, is the latest high frequency online and weekly print trade medium for the region that provides a specific much needed service which was long overdue.

TSG provides the most up-to-date shipping schedules, shipping news and useful information from carriers and freight forwarders from around the world to trading companies in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. In addition to the day-to-day information, TSG's UAE edition serves as a forum for the shipping industry in the AGCC. It also features a classified section for up-to-date industry job postings, training and educational opportunities. All such information relevant to the shipping industry rounds out TSG, making it a complete information service.

The Shipping Gazette is an integrated reference source providing information through the print and online media on Arab Gulf ports, shipping lines, agents, and other shipping-related companies (insurance, inspection, ship repair, quality control, and many other aspects of the shipping industry).

Detailed schedules for AGCC ports, both import and export, and a current shipping news section form the core of the publication. Designed as a handy 'Reader's Digest' size publication TSG takes the guesswork out of the precise planning that trading companies have to do for their shipping requirements. It is a handbook that can ensure that information and stocking practices of traders is based on reliable information for easy and effective planning.

According to Saadi Rais, DSAA President and Chairman of Rais Hassan Saadi Group: "The Shipping Gazette focuses on regularly scheduled freighter routes offered by liner carriers, as well as an important sub-group known as non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCCs). TSG offers weekly import and export schedules for liner carriers and NVOCCs from the UAE and the Middle East. ''
