BASRA: Shell on Monday organized a workshop at Sheraton Hotel in Basra on oil & gas for Iraqi journalists, according to an official at the oil company's relations & information office.
"The workshop was attended by more than 20 independent journalists as well as directors of media in the oil ministry circles in Basra," Hanadi Soliman told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The event envisaged lectures on expansion of Iraqi oil and gas industries, mechanisms of media coverage, the importance of accuracy, the history of oil industry in Iraq and deterioration of the industry due to wars and nationalization.
