NAJAF / Aswat al-Iraq: Najaf's governor Adnan al-Zarfi declared today the success of the security plan for the ceremonies for the pilgrimage marking the death of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed, held in Najaf. Zarfi told Aswat al-Iraq that about 5 million visitors came to attend these ceremonies from all around Iraq, including 100,000 foreigners. He added no extraordinary events took place during this rituals and their transportation back home.
