Cairo - Saudi embassy in Egypt held here on Thursday evening a reception party on the occasion of the Kingdom's national day, which fell on September 23.

The party was attended by Egyptian minister of endowments Dr Hamdi Zakzouk, who represented Premier Dr Ahmad Nazeef and a number of dignitaries and intellectuals in addition to accredited ambassadors to Egypt.

The guests were welcomed by Saudi ambassador to Egypt Hisham Nazir and other officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Egyptian minister of housing Eng. Ahmad al-Maghrabi highlighted the Saudi-Egyptian relations, and said they are deep-rooted relations.

On his part, Hisham Nazir highlighted the great achievement accomplished by Late King Abdulaziz, and said the Kingdom after its unification has become one of the most important countries in the world.

He described King Abdulaziz as the hero who successfully unified the country.

He noted that the sons of King Abdulaziz has been following the footsteps of their great father.

Nazir underscored the significance of the Saudi-Egyptian relations, and said the leaderships of the two countries are keen on further cementing bilateral relations.

Nazir said exchange of visits by the Leaderships of the two countries provides a clear evidence for the existing strong relations between them.
