Saraya Aqaba Real Estate Development Company PSC., held its ordinary general meeting (OGM) on June 21, at the InterContinental Hotel in Aqaba.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman of Saraya Aqaba, CEO and Vice Chairman of Saraya Holdings, Mr Ali Kolaghassi, with the presence of Saraya Aqaba's GM Mr "Shadi Ramzi" Majali. Also, attending the meeting were Saraya Aqaba board members, and shareholders who represent 85% of the Company's share capital.
The Assembly resulted in the approval of the Company's financial statements for the year 2008 and the re-election of "Ernest and Young" as auditors for the year 2009. The OGM re-elected its board of directors as follows: Sa'ad Al-Hariri (Chairman), Ali Kolaghassi (Vice Chairman), and Samer Muasher, representing Saraya Jordan;Ihab Saadi and Bassel Hindawi, representing Social Security Corporation; Imad Fakhoury, Aqaba Development Corporation; Mohammed Sadek Al-Hassan, Arab Bank; Abdul Raouf Al-Bitar and Amr Al-Bilbeisi, both elected by the non-founding shareholders.
