Sabre Travel Network Middle East has opened a new office in Al Qurum district of Muscat. The opening represents yet another step forward for Sabre Travel Network in its drive to further augment its investment and expansion plans throughout the Middle East.
The opening ceremony, held in the Ernst and Young Building in Al Qurum, was attended by Mohammed Al Amri, Oman's undersecretary for civil aviation, and Daniel Naoumovitch, CEO, Sabre Travel Network Middle East, along with members of Sabre Holding's directors and senior management from the US and the UK.
Naoumovitch said: "The opening of our new office in Oman demonstrates our sustained investment in the region and signifies the growth potential we see in Muscat. So far this year we have succeeded in increasing our market share to over 50 per cent by solidifying our relationship with all Omani travel agencies and guaranteeing our continued full market penetration."
The Oman office opening will also mark the signing of a new three-year contract between Sabre Travel Network Middle East and National Travel and Tourism (NTT), one of the largest travel and tour companies in Oman. Naoumovitch and Shakti Ghosal, NTT's manager of business development, signed the contract during the office opening celebrations.
