A unique concert aimed at bringing Indians and Pakistanis together will be held at the Tennis Stadium at Dubai Aviation Club tomorrow.
Shaan, a popular Bollywood singer, and Pakistani pop groups Strings (pictured below) and Overload will perform at the event organised as part of Eid celebrations.
"This event is our way of sharing and spreading the festive feeling of 'Eid in Dubai' throughout the city, especially since it hosts a multicultural society," said Yousuf Mubarak, Chief Operations Officer, Dubai Shopping Festival Office, which is helping to organise the event.
And fans said yesterday they could not wait.
"Such events should be held at regular intervals.
It brings people together," Indian Naresh Gupta said.
Tickets are available at Sind Punjab restaurants, Karachi Darbar, Bombay Chowpatty, Pak Ghazi restaurant and ARY Jewellery outlets.
