Brussels-based Rezidor SAS Hospitality will open its first hotel in Dubai by the end of this year and has plans to launch two more properties at The Palm Jumeirah in future.
The 251-room property 'The Radissson SAS Hotels and Resort' which will be opened at Dubai Media City, comprises of two buildings connected by a bridge link.
"The UAE continues to grow in stature as a regional business and leisure hub, and it is important that Radisson SAS is a part of that," said Kurt Ritter, president and CEO of Rezidor SAS Hospitality while addressing a press conference held yesterday at the sidelines of Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
"Our tremendous success with Radisson SAS in Sharjah has formed a solid foundation which we can build on with this new property in Dubai."
He said they introduced new breed hotels with great success in Europe. "New breed hotels incorporate all the Radisson SAS values, including the Rezidor SAS hospitality."
The Meida City property, he said, fits the profile pefrectly and gives the ideal opportunity to introduce the 'Yes I Can' spirit of service in the Middle East.
Individually-designed room themes and a new focus on innovative architecture and stylish bars and restaurants are the cornerstone of the new breed properties.
With seven meeting rooms and exclusive lounge with separate boardroom and business centre, the hotel provides all the necessary facilities for the rapidly developing MICE-Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and
Exhibition-industry in and around Dubai's Internet City and the Media City.
Ritter also laid out Rezidor's plans for the future.
