Regus' Muscat Qurum centre in the Wattayah area of Muscat has boosted business and commercial activity in the area. The area is close to the Ruwi Central Business District, embassies and Petroleum Development of Oman.

Regus is the world's largest provider of flexible workplaces, with products and services ranging from fully equipped offices to professional meeting rooms, business lounges and the world's largest network of video communication studios, according to a press release.

Over 1mn customers a day benefit from its facilities spread across 1,300 locations in 550 cities and 99 countries, the release stated. In the Middle East, the network has a presence in Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE.

The centre is located in the Tamimah Building and has become a convenient location for meeting customers, partners and suppliers, and for projecting an impressive business presence. The office, which is located on the main road, provides easy access to the city centre, harbour and Muscat International Airport.

Regus was founded in Brussels, Belgium in 1989, is headquartered in Luxembourg, and listed on the London Stock Exchange. Its network is now global, and is still growing, with new cities and centres added to the list regularly.

New countries added in 2012 include Madagascar, Ecuador, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Cambodia. In the Middle East, Regus opened new centres in Jeddah and Dubai World Central in 2012, with further launches planned for 2013.

As a result of the ongoing growth, customers can explore new export markets, and meet potential partners, customers and suppliers, confident that Regus is around to facilitate their business plans.

Since its launch, Regus has consistently developed its portfolio of services and products to keep pace with technology and work trends, and to meet the needs of customers - large corporates and small businesses alike. Customers such as Google, GlaxoSmithKline, and Nokia join thousands of growing small and medium businesses that benefit from outsourcing their office and workplace needs to Regus, allowing them to focus on their core activities.

Regus has also been at the forefront of the global trend of flexible and mobile working. Its business lounges, secure Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, touch-down workspaces and virtual office services allow people all over the world to work as effectively and productively as possible, wherever they are. Whether in Muscat, Singapore, London or New York, Regus enables people to work their way - whether it is at home, on the move, or in the office.
