Dubai: Regional Engineering College (REC), Calicut, beat Trivandrum Engineering College by eight wickets to win the first KERA cricket tournament at the Dubai Cricket Council Grounds.
This event was organised by Kerala Engineering Alumni (KERA) and sponsored by S. R. Electric Co, Abu Dhabi and Flowtech, Dubai. After winning the toss, Trivandrum Engineering College made 186 for 4 in 25 overs. Deepu hit an unbeaten 60 while Vinod chipped in with 50 to shore up the Trivandrum innings.
REC won in the 21st over losing just two wickets.
