The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) has completed phase 1 of developing the Royal Commission Headquarters, a senior officer told Zawya.
"Phase 1 of the project includes the initial preparations and the laying down of foundations, has been completed. The project complies with the international standards for green buildings," said Alaa bin Abdullah Nassif, chief executive officer, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
At a total cost of USD 80 million the RCJY the projects is set to be complete by 2014.
The projects construction and MEP was awarded to Beijing Construction Engineering Group in 2012 to be constructed in the Fahd district of Yanbu Industrial City. The project is constructed on a total area of 56,000 square meters and will include a 20 story office tower with two levels of underground parking.
