Abu Dhabi, Jun 20, 2008 (WAM)--The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has offered material support to the Romanian traveller, Dr Mohammed Stefani, who is touring the world to preach peace culture and tolerance under the theme 'Islam is Peace'.
Stefani said during his visit to the RCA office in Abu Dhabi that the "peace culture and tolerance stem from Islam and spread to the world", adding that his tour will cover many countries worldwide to preach Islam. He referred during meeting with Mohammed Al Rumaithi, deputy secretary general for local affairs at the RCA and Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, director of the RCA branch in Abu Dhabi, to the message shouldered by the RCA, adding that "it reflects noble values and human maturity outlined by the UAE wise leadership". Stefani expressed his admiration about prosperity and economic boom in the UAE. Stefani noted that the tour has so far left great impact as people turned out in those countries to learn about the reality of Islam, which preaches religious tolerance and peace among various peoples across the globe. He added that his next tour will cover India, Bangladesh, Myanamar, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. The tour, which kick started in Romania, covered Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Argentine, Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia, Panama, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Cote Divore, Salvador, Mexico, US, Canada, Alaska, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and finally UAE.
