Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Government has signed a contract with Construction Technology Contracting (CTC) to set up a Hilton Beach Hotel at Al Muaireed at a cost of Dh300 million.
The contract was signed by Shaikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Finance Department and Chairman of the emirate's Free Trade Zone, and Waddah Bassmaji, chief executive of CTC.
The Arab Bank of Ras Al Khaimah is the financier of the project.
The Hilton Beach Hotel is part of the ambitious expansion plans of the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa. Shaikh Faisal said the Hilton Beach Hotel would boost Ras Al Khaimah's rapid transformation into an international getaway destination.
The hotel will have 325 rooms, including presidential and deluxe suits, and a range of restaurants.
