Aeroduct Industries, which produces flexible duct connectors, self-adhesive hangers and damper quadrants, will relocate to Ras Al Khaimah in January 2009, Girish Hira, Managing Partner of Hira Industries, said.
Aeroduct will move to its own office space of 100,000 square feet, within the 500,000-square-foot office space of the Hira Group of Companies in Ras Al Khaimah.
Dubai-based Hira Group, which manufactures HVAC accessories, launched Aeroduct in the last quarter of 2007.
Aeroduct duct connectors are used to eliminate noise and vibrations generated by FCUs, AHUs and extract fans. The wide range of coatings on the basic fibreglass fabric includes vinyl, neoprene, silicon rubber, polyurethane and hypalon. This ensures that there is a specific connector for each application. Further, the entire range of fabrics is also available in the insulated connectors range.
Ravi Wadhwani, the Business Manager of Aeroduct, said: "Aeroduct has been successful in providing the customers with a locally manufactured product, meeting International standards, such as NFPA 701, ASTM E 84, BS 476, Part 7 Class 1 and BS 476 Part 7 Class O." Aeroduct is also an International Association member of SMACNA.
