A partnership agreement has been signed between Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) and LuLu Hypermarket to support humanitarian services.

The agreement envisages co-operation between RAF and LuLu in the execution of various programmes and activities that serve Qatar's community.

Representing the two parties at the signing ceremony were RAF CEO Dr Mohamed Salah Ibrahim and LuLu Hypermarket Qatar CEO Mohamed Altaf.

In this context, Dr Ibrahim said: "This agreement is part of the humanitarian message conveyed by RAF to enhance charitable and humanitarian works and fulfil the social commitment towards the Qatari community."

He stressed that RAF seeks active contributions in enhancing and developing the process of performing humanitarian duties by strengthening partnerships with various organisations, as a commitment to social partnerships and achieving sustainable development for the well-being of Qatar.

On his part, Altaf expressed happiness at the humanitarian and social partnership between LuLu and RAF.

He said LuLu's aim is in line with that of RAF in terms of serving the society, maintaining social and economic stability and reaching out a larger section of families living in Qatar to meet their domestic, food and personal requirements. The agreement has been signed in accordance with this.

Under the agreement, experiences will be exchanged between RAF and LuLu in humanitarian and service fields and to take advantage of material, supplies and consumer possibilities for humanitarian work within Qatar.

Both parties will work together for co-operation, media co-ordination and the exchange of experiences for programmes and projects that will benefit Qatar's community.
