DOHA: Fifty staff members of Regency Travel and Tours (RTT) recently participated in a Clean and Green Campaign held at the Sealine beach area.
The clean-up drive was organised by Regency Holidays, an Inbound Division of Regency Travel and Tours. By taking part in the project, RTT demonstrated its dedication to the eco-tourism industry in Qatar and to protecting the environment.
The team, headed by Sharina Baird, Travel Supervisor of Regency Travel and Tours, and Ammar Idlbi, Alpha Tours Doha Operations Manager, was able to collect several sacks of waste material left by visitors to the area.
"It was fun and we should do this again," said most of the participants of the clean-up drive.
This was not the first time Regency Travel fulfilled its share of responsibility in taking care of the environment, especially in Qatar.
The company has participated in energy conservation campaigns, recycling and clean air campaigns. Regency Travel and Tours, in line with its global commitment, supports and encourages its staff to work for environment protection.
