Doha - Qatar Navigation Company has signed an agreement with Sennebogen Company for the sale of Sennebogen equipment in Qatar.
The agreement, announced at Qatar Navigation's headquarters in Al Dafna, was signed by Khalifa bin Ali Al Hitmi, the Deputy Chief Executive Operations and Khalid H Pappert, General Manager of Sennebogen Company. Yousef Darwish, Commercial Department Manager at Qatar Navigation, was also present at the signing ceremony.
The co-operation agreement between Qatar Navigation and Sennebogen is aimed at establishing a trade relationship based on the exchange and transfer of technology in a way that will respond to clients' needs in the building and construction sector in regard to trucks, cranes, truck trailers and other equipment, Qatar Navigation said.
As per the agreement, Qatar Navigation will be the sole agent for Sennebogen equipment in Qatar.
Sennebogen's products are distributed all over the world through a wide range of agencies. Its product collection includes earthmovers, fixed and mobile cranes and loading and unloading equipment.
Al Hitmi said: "This agreement comes as a start of a strong relationship between our company and German specialized Sennebogen Company. We endeavour to support the building and construction sector through the provision and supply our clients with all their needs such as Harboor equipment."
Qatar Navigation is a representative of the biggest truck and equipment companies in the world like Hino Motors of Japan, Hino genuine spare parts of Belgium, Doosan Daewoo for heavy equipment from Korea and Fassi Crane Company of Italy.
Qatar Navigation is also a distributor of trailers from manufacturers like Al Alam Iron and Steel Manufacturing and Jorica Trailer Company.
Since it was founded in 1952, Sennebogen Company has been engaged in the manufacture of cranes, specialized equipment for loading and unloading industrial materials and hydraulic earthmovers. The company manufactures high-quality engineering equipment in its factories in Straubing and Walkersdorf in Germany.
