Doha • Some 50 students picked out from various schools in Qatar participated in the one-day programme Venal Thamp organised by the Centre for Islahi Students (CIS) as part of its summer activities.
T M Kunhi Muhammad, President of Qatar Indian Islahi Centre, inaugurated the programme. Abdul Latheef Nallalam delivered a talk on "Happpiness through submission to God" in the opening session, followed by an interactive session led by M Y Abdul Rahman.
Interactive session had full involvement of participants with a lot of group activities. This programme was created to impart the message of the importance of co-operation in the society to students, and also to develop leadership capabilities.
Post-lunch session started with a discussion led by Abdul Rahman Madani and Abdul Salam. Students discussed various issues being faced by them at school, home, and in the society.
This session was followed by another informative session "Internet - Yesterday and Today," by Abdul Naseer Panoor.
Munir Salafi addressed the students in the closing session. Abdul Latheef Nallalam and Anees Aluva were present on the presidium throughout the programme.
