Qatar Fuel Additives Company limited (Qafac) is taking part as a gold sponsor in Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) - Qatar's fourth National Conference on Internal Auditing. The event will be held from May 25 to 27 under the patronage of HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah. The theme is "Are we on track?", referring to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030. At a ceremony held on Qafac's West Bay premises, Qafac CEO Nasser Jeham al-Kuwari handed over the sponsorship cheque to IIA-Qatar president Hassan al-Mulla in the presence of IIA-Qatar delegates and the Qafac management.

Al-Mulla expressed gratitude to Qafac's management for the ongoing support. "As part of Qafac's initiatives towards corporate social responsibilities, we are proud to be part of this important event," said al-Kuwari. Al-Kuwari further acknowledged the contribution of two of Qafac's internal auditors, Murali Krishnan and Maha al-Maadeed, who are members of the Board of Governors of IIA-Qatar. Both members are actively involved in the preparation of the conference and other initiatives of IIA-Qatar. Meanwhile, al-Mulla said there has been a remarkable increase in the number of attendees and "we are expecting about 300 delegates and 200 students to attend the conference this year".
