Amman - Under the patronage of HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein, The Arab Robotics Association and the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education (JCEE) of the King Hussein Foundation opened the 1st Arab Robotics Conference .
Topics during the conference will focus on the challenges and ambitions of robotics in the Arab world, global and regional investment opportunities in robotics, and the importance of robotics science in industry, agriculture, and education.
The three-day meeting aims at sparking the interest, and stimulating the attention of Arab scientific and research institutions in the subject of robotics, spreading awareness about the need for attention to the science of robotics, as well as exchanging Arab and international expertise in the field of robotics.
The conference will also focus on assessing the current status of robotics in the Arab world, pinpointing the most important achievements in this field and providing career guidance for students wishing to specialize in the field of robotics through launching an Arab database of the most important institutions, universities and research centers that deal with robotics science.
Specialists in robotics working in research centers and universities from Jordan,Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Kuwait, Syria, the UAE, Yemen, Lebanon, Qatar, Egypt, Libya and Iraq will present their working papers, will hold specialized seminars and hold discussions on robotics.
During the opening ceremony, Prince Hamzah received the association shield.
The Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education (JCEE) was founded in 1998 to focus on the use of advanced educational technology to develop innovative curricula and interactive training program for students, teachers and administrators in Jordan.
