Amman -- His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al-Hussein, the Regent, discussed with Director of the U.S Peace Corps, Aaron Williams, scopes for forging closer ties especially education and voluntary work between Jordan and the U.S volunteer program.

Prince Faisal noted His Majesty King Abdullah II's relentless efforts to improve and upgrade education in the Kingdom to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.

The Regent commended the Peace Corps's voluntary activities, particularly educational and capacity-building programs for youth.

Established in 1961, The Peace Corps is a volunteer program run by the United States Government to work on issues ranging from AIDS education to information technology and environmental preservation.
