Tehran, March 15, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who had travelled to Khuzestan province to inaugurate several big development projects in that province returned to Tehran on Thursday evening.
President Ahmadinejad during his one-day tour of Khuzestan province inaugurated Mehr Housing project in Andimeshk which consisted of 10,444 housing units.
The president also paid tribute to martyrs of 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war (Iraqi imposed war against Iran) by travelling to the areas in Khuzestan province that were previously considered as war zones during 1980-88.
Inauguration of Ghadir Bridge, the biggest intra-city cable bridge in the Middle East and al-Ghadir sports stadium with a capacity of 50,000 spectators was as the biggest and the most beautiful sport stadium in southwestern Iran was among other project inaugurated by President Ahmadinejad.
