Within the framework of the construction projects being implemented for Jubail-2, the President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thunayan A'al Saud has signed a contract for the construction work on the pipelines passage in Jubail Industrial City.
The contract has been given for implementation to Abdullah Bin Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari & Sons Co. (P. O. Box 832 Dammam 31421, Tel. 894 6703 / 895 2840, Fax. 898 6856) for a sum of SR 67.4 million. The period allowed for implementation is 26 months.
The contract includes alteration work on some overpasses, as well as expansion thereof to accommodate more piping to pass through. The contractor has to construct reinforced concrete channels for the piping over the extension of the passage and develop the existing pathway through the provision of circular supports made of steel, as well as horizontal transom supports made of reinforced concrete.
Additional works include development of the service road, fencing walls and civil works with installation of water network for fire fighting and expansion of steel works at some crossings.
