Islamabad - Pakistani analysts on Saturday strongly opposed foreign intervention in the affairs of Bahrain and also called for summoning of the OIC meeting to review ongoing crisis in the Persian Gulf state.
Talking to IRNA separately, they stressed the necessity to resolve the crisis of Bahrain peacefully.
Former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and defence analyst Lt General (Retd) Hamid Gul described the situation in Bahrain as dangerous and feared that Israel could exploit the situation triggering sectarian clashes in the country.
The analyst was of the view that use of force is not a solution to any problem. He added that deployment of foreign troops in Bahrain could place the whole country into risky circumstances.
"This move would only create instability in the country", he opined.
Hamid Gul opined that American stakes are very high in Bahrain as the country is a key US ally and host of the US Navy's 5th Fleet.
"I think Ummah should immediately call for an Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) meeting to review the crisis in Bahrain", he viewed.
He also asked Middle Eastern countries to remain vigilant against Western anti-Islam conspiracies. The analyst said that existence of Israel is at stake because of uprising in Middle East.
He wondered as to why majority of Muslim states have become silent spectators to Bahrain crisis.
Over 1,000 Saudi Arabian troops arrived in Bahrain to help the crackdown on demonstrators.
People in Bahrain have been peacefully camping in Pearl Square since February 14th, demanding King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's ouster and constitutional reforms.
Several Bahrainis have lost their lives so far and hundreds of others have sustained injuries following the violent crackdown on anti-government protesters.
Iranian Foreign Minister Spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast has said that the 'presence of foreign forces in Bahrain is unacceptable' and would only complicate the crisis in the country.
Another Pakistani analyst Salim Safi commenting over Bahrain crisis said that no country has a right to intervene with the affairs of Persian Gulf state.
"The situation of Bahrain should not be exploited by any other country", he advised.
He opined that prolonged dictatorial rules in Muslim states have triggered the uprising in North Africa and Middle East. "People of these countries are tired of brutal dictators imposed by US", he said.
Expressing his views the analyst said that these movements would reshape Arab societies.
Salim Safi said that US is worried about the situation of Arab countries and want to control the crises by use of force.
