MUSCAT -- Oman National Engineering & Investment Company (ONEIC) has decided to move their procurement process fully online through the Tejari Online Marketplace. This decision by ONEIC is part of their electronic procurement strategy. ONEIC suppliers registering on the Tejari platform will be able to participate in tenders and RFQs floated by ONEIC. Suppliers will be able to submit their bids online and send their procurement related enquiries with a click of a buttons.
ONEIC has signed an agreement with Omania E-Commerce (OEC) to implement this strategic initiative which is part of ONEIC's vision of embrace technology solutions, in order to provide the best services to its clients. The Tejari platform will provide ONEIC with several benefits including reduction in transaction costs, suppliers' outreach, reduction in the procurement cycle times, increase in productivity, and better control and greater transparency in the purchasing process.
