AL-KHOBAR - One construction worker died and four others were injured when the slabs in the sixth and seventh floor of a building under construction in the Al-Khobar Corniche area collapsed.
Around 19 workers from Egypt, Pakistan and Bangladesh were at work on the building located near the Movenpick Hotel, when the accident happened at around 3 P.M. Wednesday Ambulances from the Red Crescent Society and rescue crew from the Al-Khobar Fire Department responded immediately and helped the injured workers. The worker who was killed was taken to the Dammam Central Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
