MUSCAT -- The Technical and Administrative Training Institute (TATI) recently concluded training of yet another batch of 35 Auto Mechanics and Auto Electricians through its technical wing for the OTE Group and the graduation ceremony was held recently. The TATI, has since its inception in 1993, been a forerunner in providing technical and commercial training including programmes like HSE and Defensive Driving courses, HGV and Plant Equipment operations courses Selling Skills, Automobile related technical skills and an array of commercial traini g courses aimed at providing gainful employment to the Omani youth.
Oman Trading and Establishment LLC, has been sourcing its technical and commercial skill requirements from TATI and Training & Development Institute (TDI) which included the recent batch of 35 Auto Mechanics and Auto Electricians. "OTE Group is committed to its mission of providing the Omani youth gainful employment and future career development to deserving aspirants. The group firmly supports the government's programme of Omanisation," a company press release said.
"These highly trained and skilled mechanics and electricians will be deployed in the service centres of OTE Group throughout the Sultanate where they would contribute in delivering better service to customers for brands like Cadillac, Hummer, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Subaru, Isuzu and Chery. "TATI has also been a support to other companies in development of local talent in various sectors of the Oman economy", said Khaleed Asad, Managing Director of TATI.
