MUSCAT -- Teejan Group of Companies and Simplex Company jointly held a seminar at the Golden Tulip Hotel yesterday, showcasing Simplex's latest range of fire detection and alarm systems. The seminar highlighted the technical and engineering capabilities of Simplex and its local agents, Teejan, the extensive experience of their engineers and technicians, project references, product lists, and the training and service back up facilities.
Also spotlighted was the growth and achievements of the company especially in the fire safety business. In a welcome speech, Hamed Salem Issa al Harrassy, Chairman, Teejan Group, stressed the importance of innovation and advanced technology in the fire safety business.

Already a major player in the Indian market, the company is also represented in the Saudi fire engineering, security, and projects sectors, and is also providing services to factories, hotels and shopping malls in the UAE, said Ameer Ahmed, Managing Director, Teejan Group.
"The company is also well represented in India by 'Agnice Teejan', which provides a state of the art facility with high standards and follows international standards in the manufacture of critical components as well as supports and commissions management of complicated jobs." Jason Crouch, Business Manager (Middle East, Europe, Africa & Russia), Simplex, outlining the brand's line-up of fire detection systems, ranging from small blowing systems to medium size systems and higher integration including networking capabilities.
The range of products has been engineered for superior performance in the most demanding environments, he said. The Simplex Truealarm Detection system is ahead of any other fire sensing technology currently available and its manageability and flexibility are based on decades of experience and supported by seven US patents. The product is important in protecting people, property, and creates peace of mind in hospitals, office buildings, universities, government institutions, industrial complexes and other significant commercial facilities.
