MUSCAT -- Oman's latest shopping mall -- Mars Shopping Centre -- will open in Ruwi today.
Munir Abdulnabi Makki, member, Oman Higher Education Council and managing director and president of Fincorp will inaugurate the centre at 5.30pm. South Indian filmstar Kalabhavan Mani will open the first sale.
Mars Shopping Centre is the largest shopping centre on Ruwi High Street with an area of 14,000sq.ft. Mars Shopping Centre is the eighth venture of Mars International LLC, in the Gulf.
Other ventures of Mars International include Queens Restaurant, Mars Departmental Stores and supermarkets in Ruwi, Dubai and Al Khuwair. V. T. Vinod, who is a board member of Oman's Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, is the managing director of Mars International.
