MUSCAT — There is good news for all, especially the youth. In a trend-setting move by Omantel, against purchase of a power packed Acer PC, customers become eligible to free Internet connection and eleven hours of free surfing for five continuous months.

“New Internet subscribers never had it so good. We wanted to offer something innovative for the youth and especially the college going students who would want to increase their knowledge and awareness through the Internet, with their limited means or pocket money. Loay International came forward with the right solution,” said an official of Omantel.

The latest IDC report has revealed Acer to be the largest selling brand in Oman with over 25 per cent market share and Omantel naturally chose Acer, as it offered value for money, without compromising on quality or the configurations of the machine, said a press release.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Omantel in its efforts to create a knowledge economy in the Sultanate and prepare the youth to face the challenges in the era of an increasingly globalised world,” commented Baltazar Fernandes, general manager of Loay International LLC.

As in the previous years Loay International LLC is participating in a big way at Comex 2004 and has a line-up of several exciting offers.
