MUSCAT -- Oman Ceramics Co. SAOG, manufacturers of high quality sanitary ware, launched their designer basins, 'Trendz', and also their new European look trendy suite named Zurich under the "Wave Premium" brand at the Hotel Grand Hyatt yesterday.

Rajan Paul, director of Oman Ceramics, along with Vish Natrajan, CEO of Oman Ceramics David Mott, ex-technical director of Jacuzzi UK, and other officials formerly launched the product.

Before the launch the company organised a talk on the "Current Trends in Sanitaryware in Europe".

David Mott, ex-technical director of Jacuzzi UK, who has several decades of experience in the sanitary ware industry, spoke on the latest trends in the market. His presentations gave an insight into the current practices in the world market as far as sanitary ware is concerned.

Officials from various ministries, consultants, architects, builders, contractors and dealers attended the seminar.

Vish Natrajan, CEO, Oman Ceramics, who spoke on the occasion said: "One of the things we are really proud as a company is Oman Ceramics makes world class products which are of European standards. The company has the distinction of exporting these top class products to the UK."

He also added that the export quality products of the company are made available in this market too. "That is one of our plus points," he said.

The elegant looking Trendz designer basins that were launched are available in four different semi-precious stone shades to match the décor of any interiors. These are ideal for the majlis and can also be gifted on festive occasions. The Zurich suite is a modern trendy European design suite that has a marvellous square shape and is available with special soft close seat covers from Germany. The Zurich suite complements the already vast and comprehensive product range of Oman Ceramics Company.

Oman Ceramics is the only manufacturer of sanitary ware in the Sultanate of Oman. It exports a large percentage of its production to the UK where these are sold under the brand name of the importer. Oman Ceramics has a present capacity of 360,000 pieces per annum, which is being expanded to 600,000 pieces by the end of this year.
