BAGHDAD: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Usama al-Nujiefi, reiterated the parliament's support to the independence of the Central Bank of Iraq in accordance with the constitution and the bank's law.
BAGHDAD: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Usama al-Nujiefi, reiterated the parliament's support to the independence of the Central Bank of Iraq in accordance with the constitution and the bank's law.
Al-Nujiefi stressed during the meeting with CBI Governor Sannan Mohammad Reza al-Shabibi, his support to the independent of the CBI, rejecting any kind of interference in the work of this institution, according to a parliament's statement, received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The two discussed the exchange rate and ways to realize stability to the national currency.
