New additions strengthen market leader's line up
UAE - Al-Futtaim Motors, has introduced three new Toyota models into the UAE automotive market: the 8-seater Innova, the Fortuner SUV, and the Hilux pick-up.
Targeted at different audience segments, the new models were presented under the premise of 'work, live and play.' Al Futtaim Motors is the sole distributor of the Toyota, Lexus and Hino models in the UAE.
"All new model arrivals are exciting, but launching three new Toyota models at the same time is particularly thrilling for Al-Futtaim Motors," said Colin Leitch, managing director of Al-Futtaim Motors.
First on the list is the Innova, which is the first 8-seater passenger car in the Toyota range. The Innova's marketing will be focusing around the concept of 'personal space,' as it offers the features of a passenger car with the spaciousness of people carrier.
On the other hand, the Hilux is presented as durable, high-performance and reliable. The pick-up will both be promoted towards work-oriented and leisure-oriented buyers. Hilux also features a CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), which helps reduce noise and vibration, resulting in stability, control and ride comfort.
The third new model was the Fortuner, which was taken from a lime of Toyota 4x4 models such as the Land Cruiser and Prado. The vehicle is targeted towards 'urbanites,' who are also sports and off-roading enthusiasts.
