Starts 2014 even on higher note, says regional manager

Taiwan-based networking solutions provider DrayTek Corp. has recorded over 200 per cent sales growth in the UAE in 2013 and started 2014 on even higher note, said a company official in Dubai.

Joseph Tsai, Senior Regional Manager of DrayTek, said first quarter of 2014 has started off better than same quarter last year.

"2014 has picked up really well for the company and the company has seen four times faster growth over the first quarter of 2013," Tsai added.

International Data Corporation (IDC) said earlier this week that spending by the UAE businesses will rise 8.3 per cent year-on-year to Dh17 billion ($4.63 billion).

Witnessing the strong demand of Broadband Networking Solutions in rapidly growing ICT sector in UAE and the region and in light of the predicted economic growth with the coming of World Expo 2020 to Dubai, DrayTek see the need to incentivize the sales channel to keep expanding the sales engines.

DrayTek's major customers in the UAE include Al Nabooda and Abu Dhabi Police among others.

In partnership with its distributor for Middle East DVCOM Technology, the Taiwanese firm launched new region-wide campaign to search the "DrayTek Channel Champ" identifying and rewarding the channel partners who excel in sales performance.

DrayTek, with sustaining market's cultivation via its partnership with DVCOM Technology and continuously endeavoring itself to deliver superior quality Networking Access Gateway & Data Management Solution to each of its esteemed customer has seen a considerable growth in demand in the regional market in last few months; specially in DrayTek Vigor series.
