MUSCAT -- Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co LLC yesterday launched new remittance service called 'SBI Express Revamp' enabling faster credit to customers' accounts. SBI Express customers will be able to get credit of their remittances within 3-4 hours now. The confirmation of credit through SMS to both beneficiary as well as the remitter is the unique value addition of the Service being offered by Mustafa Sultan Exchange Company. The SMS confirmation is provided free of cost.
The facility has been launched by P K Khosla, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, during his visit to Muscat in the presence of Akber Mustafa Sultan, MD and Minoo Saher, Group CEO, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises. The service will be available at all the 12 branches of the Company spread across the Sultanate of Oman. SBI Express -revamp is one of the best remittance packages provided by India's largest Bank -- SBI. This enables processing of remittances with minimal manual intervention to ensure greater accuracy and speed.
Speaking on the occasion, Khosla expressed happiness over the launch of the service from Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co which is one of the oldest exchange companies in Oman and managed by SBI for the last 21 years. He added that 'SBI Express-Revamp' product has been exclusively provided to Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co LLC because it has been extensively tested by SBI officials posted at the Company. Minoo Saher, Group CEO, and Dr V S Kumar, GM, MS Exchange also spoke on the occasion. Baldev Prakash, Asst General Manager & Branch Head, Ruwi Branch, proposed the vote of thanks.
