Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co, managed by State Bank of India (SBI), opened its new branch in Al Khuwayr at the Philips Building on Monday.
The branch was inaugurated by Mustafa Sultan, chairman, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises, in the presence of Akber Mustafa Sultan, managing director, Shabbir Mustafa Sultan and Noorjehan Mustafa Sultan, directors, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises, a press release said.
Baldev Prakash, general manager, Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co, B Ravindra Naidu, general manager (designate), Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co, were also present on the occasion, along with A S Narayan, CEO, State Bank of India, Muscat, and M K Janaki Raman, general manager, Bahwan IT, who were the guests of honour.
Speaking at the function, Prakash said that the new branch in Al Khuwayr will cater to the Indian expatriates living in Al Khuwayr with fast-remittance products which ensure credit of remittance within hours.
Bangladeshi Pakistani, Philippine and Nepali expatriates will also be able to avail remittance services at the new branch. The Western Union instant transfer service will now be available to customers.
