UAE  Independent music publisher Fairwood Music and production company BKP Music have launched a "premier full service music publishing" operation in the UAE.

The Fairwood/BKP Music (Arabia) will be representing global music catalogues throughout MENA. The JV will see Fairwood/BKP Music (Arabia) use catalogues for placement in film, TV and major ad campaigns.

 "This new step...will not only allow us to use our regional experience and relationships to protect and properly represent some of the world's leading copyrights, but also to help exploit an incredible wealth of music that has never had any formal representation in this region before," said Hussain "Spek" Yoosuf, MD, Fairwood/BKP Music (Arabia).
