MP criticizes calls to form security public committees in Babel

Babel-Ain-MP, Iskandar Witwit, the head of the Security and Defense Committee criticized the calls to form the security public committees in Babel province.

Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he said "The calls to form the security public committees are to create the sectarian conflict and it is unacceptable."

"The terrorist groups are executing strategic plans to weaken the role of the security forces in Iraq," he added, noting that "The Security Committee held several meetings with the security leaders and the local government in Babel in order to set the suggestions and decisions to eliminate the terrorist groups in the areas that witness disturbed security situation," he concluded
