Dubai: Movenpick Hotels & Resorts yesterday said it has signed an agreement with Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design to provide a turnkey solution for the $9.5 million Movenpick Resort Oceana Palm Jumeirah.
Schletterer International Group, a leading wellness and spa architecture, design and realisation company will provide a turnkey solution from concept design to development and construction for the hotel.
The company will also create an $8 million spa facility for the upcoming Movenpick Resort & Spa Palm Jumeirah.
"Spas are an essential component of today's hotel product and we wanted to create an experience unlike any other in the region," said Thomas Tapken, general manager and regional manager for Dubai.
"Our alignment with Schletterer means that guests and spa-goers will experience something unique in Dubai," he said.
Lagoon oasis
Created as an oasis within the lagoon the M?venpick Resort & Spa Palm Jumeirah is an Asian style concept characterised by the use of natural materials wood, natural stone and plant life combined with innovative water features.
This spa village sprawling over 2,380 square metres will comprise of indoor and outdoor treatment rooms providing signature therapies, water based therapies, beauty rooms as well as retail and vitamin refreshment areas.
Natural water features will play a big part in the design of this spa.
