Doha - Alfred Zuberbyhler has been appointed as the new executive chef in-charge of food and beverage department of the Movenpick Hotel Doha, a press release issued by the hotel said yesterday.

Alfred has recently joined the Movenpick Hotel Doha, bringing in an extensive culinary experience acquired while working in prestigious hotels around the world.

A Swiss national, Alfred started his career in Switzerland, in reputable hotels in St Moritz and Silvaplana. His career path took him later on to Maldives. After spending two years on these paradise islands delighting vacation makers with his amazing food, he joins the family of Movenpick Hotels & Resorts at Movenpick Ulyssee Palace & Thalasso, Djerba, Tunisia.

Movenpick Hotel Doha is the first city and business hotel in Alfred's career. He refers to himself as the "typical vacation man", used to pamper his guests in exquisite resorts and satisfy their every wish.

At the Movenpick Hotel Doha, Alfred is responsible for the operations of the Food & Beverage Department and he is heading a multi-national team that speaks more than 10 languages.
