Dubai: Children in the UAE are not physically active enough and it could have an impact on their learning process, according to Australian kinesiologist Brendan O'Hara.

The international lecturer will be here to conduct Movement, Brain and Learning workshops which are open to everyone from February 17 to 24.

The lectures and seminars to take place in various schools and institutions are designed to boost levels of self-esteem and confidence in people who have adequate motivation and productivity. The subject of Primitive and Postural Infant Reflexes and their impact on performance in education will also be studied.

O'Hara will also address issues such as reading, spelling, vision, concentration, balance and posture, writing, hand-eye co-ordination and co-ordination in general.
