The winner of the Lexus Mega Raffle special to DSF 2004 is an Indian who has lived in Dubai for 10 years.

After all these years of faithfully buying tickets, Sunil Sreedharan, holding coupon number 3693, finally found redemption by winning the mega raffle that is sure to change his fortunes.

"My wife and I used to buy one or two tickets each every year, and sometimes pool in money with friends and buy a few tickets, and this year, we just bought two tickets from an Eppco station in Al Qusais. We are really excited about this win and though we are sure we will not be keeping the cars, we have not decided what to do with the money as of now," said Sreedharan.

To celebrate the festive occasion of Eid Al Adha, DSF increased the chances of winning for each buyer of the Lexus Mega Raffle. There were two draws per day and both winners got the same prizes of two Lexus cars and Dh150,000 in cash.

The other winner of the Lexus Mega Raffle is Fahad Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Duwaisan, a Kuwaiti national who is in Dubai on a combined business and leisure trip. He works with the Ministry of Education and was to leave, but on hearing that his coupon number 1149 had won, has decided to extend his stay so as to complete all his formalities.

"I thank God for this luck. I just bought this ticket on a whim, and it is really unbelievable that I won. I have been looking at buying a car for some time, and now I don't need to search any more. I will keep one of the cars, save some of the money and invest the rest", he said.

The winners of the Lexus Mega Raffle have been extended the option of taking their cash winnings in Mashreq Millionaire Certificates from Mashreq Bank. The winner of the Daily Nissan Super Raffle, is Raouf Mustafa Al Mu'mani, a Jordanian.

A bachelor who has lived in Dubai for four years, he works with Al Ansari Exchange and had bought telephone cards from an Eppco station in Karama when he got the coupons for the raffle.

"I was relaxing in the evening when my friends started calling me and congratulating me on my win. I really hope for a Nissan Patrol, and I think I will sell any other car that I win. I would use the money to buy a flat in Jordan and maybe even get married," he said.
