Morocco and the Polisario agreed on Tuesday (August 10th) to hold another round of talks on Western Sahara, MAP and international press quoted UN mediator Christopher Ross as saying at the conclusion of two days of UN-led informal discussions in Austria.
This week's talks in Austria "took place in an atmosphere of serious engagement, frankness, and mutual respect", Ross said. As parties to the 34-year-old conflict, Algeria and Mauritania also sent delegations to the "restricted" session.
