COMPIEGNE, 23rd May 2014 (WAM) -- Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has witnessed the achievement made by U.A.E. riders at the 2014 edition of Festival Mondial d?Endurance in Compiegne, France, sponsored by the HH Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.
U.A.E. rider Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouie, on Nopoli Del Ma, won the Compiegne endurance mondial (CEI-O Three Star ride) when he finished first in 7:35:33, followed in the second place by Marine Saignie of France, on Qhashmyr D'hazel, who finished the race in 7:37:47, and in the third place by U.A.E. rider Ali Ghanem Obaid, on Jq Safi Safra, in 7:50:37. Charge d'Affaire of U.A.E. Embassy in paris, Hamad Al Za'abi, Head of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Adnan Sultan Al Amimi, Director of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival and Chairperson of Ladies Racing at the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR), Lara Sawaya, Head of Dubai Equestrian Club, Ali Mouda Al Khamiri, and others presented the winners of the mondial with trophies. Sixteen U.A.E. riders, led by Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum, Sheikh Hamed bin Dalmook Al Maktoum and Sheikh Hasher bin Mohammad Thani Al Maktoum, took part in the 160-km CEI-O Three Star ride on Friday.
