Dubai: Modhesh Fun City, the star attraction of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), is bursting with activity.
An ideal family destination, the Fun City at the Dubai World Trade Centre has been attracting crowds in big numbers ever since it opened its doors to the public on June 21 this year.
Dubbed as the largest indoor themed park, the vast facility is a favourite haunt for both children and their parents.
Besides loads of entertainment and fun for the little ones, Modhesh Fun City also provides a whole lot of activities and services.
Equipped with two salons, a studio and a 4D cinema hall, it is a place where families can spend hours together. Huge parking lot with ample free parking is also an incentive as visitors do not have to worry about wasting time looking for space for their cars.
The parking lot can accommodate 2,000 cars at any given time.
There is a special henna corner for little girls which says "henna for children only." Children can get their favourite henna designs for Dh10.
A photo studio called Modhesh Studio gives you photo opportunities with the endearing sunny mascot, Modhesh. Families and individuals pose before the camera to take home some fond memories of a memorable visit to the fun city.
Modhesh Store provides the ever-popular Modhesh merchandise. Bags, key-rings, pens, T-shirts, toys, books, Modhesh gifts, stuffed toys, magnets, and a whole range of items are available at this store.
A smaller kiosk selling similar items is also located within the Toddlers' Zone, which stocks interesting Modhesh posters and bean bags. Another store selling educational toys for children is located just next to it. Buyers can choose from a variety of stimulating toys such as puzzles and word games at this store.
There is also book shop selling Islamic books and a music shop where you can choose from cassettes and CDs of Arabic music and films.
Scattered throughout the fun city are balloon sellers carrying balloons in different shapes and sizes to catch the fancy of the little ones.
Also available are small knick-knacks such as glow toys, musical toys and magic wands for as little as Dh10.
Modhesh Cafe provides a relaxed food court with a varied menu. Every evening a delectable buffet is also served for children as well as adults. The children's buffet has their favourite items such as French fries, chips, chicken nuggets and muffins, while the grown-ups can choose from a grand spread of starters, salads and main course items.
