Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Etihad Etisalat Co (Mobily) is considering launching 5G network and its relevant technologies, Ahmed Abou Doma, CEO of Mobily, said.

The telecommunication company’s net debt declined by SAR 2.03 billion from 2016 until now, Abou Doma told Al Arabiya.

Last week, the Saudi firm signed an agreement with Huawei to collaborate on a five-year plan to upgrade Mobily’s networks and accelerate the arrival of 5G to the kingdom.

Mobily is seeking to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including raising high-speed internet coverage across the kingdom's regions, CEO Ahmed Abou Doma said.
