Tehran - Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian will leave for Doha Monday for talks with Qatari officials on ways of developing economic and industrial ties between the two countries. In addition to holding talks with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and several ministers, Mehrabian will also meet industrialists and merchants.
Mehrabian's discussions with Qatari officials will focus on reviewing ways of developing economic and industrial cooperation.
The Iranian minister, who is to visit Qatar on the official invitation of Commerce Minister Fahad bin Jassem bin Muhammad al-Thani, will express Iran's willingness to invest in Qatar's industrial and mine-related projects.
A memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed during his one-day visit to Doha.
